David started The Kersey Quail Business in 2005.
The first quail he hatched were from a box of eggs bought from Tesco. In February 2008 Simon became a partner in the business to share the work. In July 2014 Josie took over Simon's role in the business as he was off to university. The quail business has grown year on year, consistently selling more eggs each year as well as live quail.
We used to sell our eggs to Hollow Trees Farm Shop, Joe Watkins who is an egg wholesaler and supplies lots of local pubs, restaurants and shops.
We have currently stopped keeping quail and no longer sell our eggs.
